Trinity United Methodist Church offers many programs and events for children of all ages. We have an annual Easter Egg Hunt in April, which gives the children an opportunity to have fun playing games and collecting the hidden eggs. Vacation Bible School is held for one week in June. Monday-Friday night we gather to learn more about Jesus and his teachings through fun activities. Our Christmas program is held each December and the children love to celebrate the birth of Christ through song and skit.

Nursery

Nursery aged children (infants and toddlers) are cared for by church volunteers and paid workers. All volunteers and workers are required to have current background checks on file in the church office.

At the end of each service, the rooms and toys are cleaned thoroughly to prevent the spread of germs the next time the room is used.  We do our best to keep our infant and toddler rooms sanitary for the sake of the children's health.

All parents are welcome to stay with their children in the nursery for any length of time to ensure their children are happy and content.  We also welcome and encourage parents to volunteer for the nursery.  Contact the church office at 704-399-1684 to get more information about volunteering as a nursery worker.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Each year the Age Level Committee sponsors our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. There are tons of fun games and prizes, plus we dye eggs, decorate cookies, and give out lots of candy! The children bring 12 candy filled eggs to donate to the Easter Egg Hunt and bring 6 hard boiled eggs to dye!

It is always a blast to watch the kids line up and wait patiently to hunt for the eggs. You can see an amazing amount of energy burst out as they take off down the hill in the front yard to pick up as many as they can find. It warms the heart to watch as they share the eggs they have found with someone who wasn't able to find as many. Then just as they did when their age group was called, once they have found their 12 eggs and shared and traded with friends and siblings, they run right back in the Family Life Center to break them open and discover what treasures they found.

Be sure to come out and be a part of our Annual Easter Egg next year!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!

We offer a Vacation Bible School program each year in June. Plan to bring your kids out to enjoy a fresh, one-of-a-kind VBS! Through biblical festivals, your kids will explore the Bible. If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation . . . - 2 Corinthians 5:17a
