Children's Education
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Toddler Sunday School (Ages 2-4) - The Toddler Sunday School includes a small portion of Bible study during which the children learn about Jesus and other various Bible stories presented at their level. Class time includes songs, crafts, snack, and a Bible story. The toddler nursery has regular volunteers, Sandra Duggins and Ginny Martin.
PLAYSCHOOL
The Trinity United Methodist Church Playschool has been welcoming and teaching children for 28 years. Our program strives to build a child's self confidence, by unlocking the key to discovery and helping the child to believe in his or herself. Our classes include a balance of guided play activities, creative art work, music, outdoor play, conversation, story times, dramatic play, and group activities. Each child will be helped to grow in independence, social development, spiritual development, and the development of his or her unique talents and abilities.
In our children we wish to enable each child to view the difference between him/herself and other children as a positive factor. Each child is taught to realize that they are individuals with "special talents" and characteristics that belong only to them.
